The one with likeable links

Set in the street is an ongoing art project by Justin Bettman and Gozde Eker. These two build eleborate sets of unwanted materials and furniture, mostly found in the streets. After shooting the photo's, the sets are left in the streets, so passerby's can take their own pictures.

And how about these caramel brownies with pretzel crust from Milk and Honey?

It has been ages since I've been to the ballet, and the Nutcracker is something I would love to see one day. Over at the Huffington Post is a selection of stunning photographs of this world famous ballet throughout the years.

If you're in need of some DIY inspiration, you may like one of the many tutorials over at DaWanda, like these candle holders made from a rolling pin

  10. I love the street set design idea. I think that is so cool. The best is the materials are from the street so its not like they are doing anything harmful to the environment. I also think its cool other people are able to take pictures too. I love going to new places and seeing things like that pop up.

I've seen The Nutcracker several times on stage and my favorite movie version is the one that came out in the 80s. I used to watch it ALL the time as a kid. Its on Netflix so you should check it out if you haven't seen it already.

  13. You may not know that I started my creative life as a ballet dancer.. :).. but after my first child I realized that is not my calling, and I never can be a prima ballerina... haha! .....but this was a sweet revelation and I'm happy to switch my artistic endeavor! but Pavlova always will be my muse... and dance still my favorite subject to paint!!!
